Who we are
OWTWO is a creative house and agency operating at the intersection of art, business, and technology. We partner with bands and brands to shape projects from their earliest stages through production, release, and long-term growth. Acting as both creative and strategic partners, we design, build, manage, and scale work that is designed to exist, connect, and last
The position description
As a Music Production & Mixing Intern at OWTWO, you support the development and finalization of music projects, from early production stages to final mixes.
You work closely with producers, artists, and the wider creative team, assisting in shaping tracks through arrangement, sound design, and mixing. Under the guidance of the Lead Producer and engineers, you contribute to translating creative direction into structured and high-quality audio outputs, while learning how consistency is maintained across projects and formats.
Whether in the studio or working remotely, you support session preparation, basic edits, and file organization, while contributing to refining sessions, balancing elements, and preparing deliverables. You are exposed to how production decisions impact the final mix, and how mixing brings structure, clarity, and intention to a record.
Your mission
Here is what the role looks like in practice:
Production & Arrangement & Support: You assist the Lead Producer and engineers across production and mixing stages, supporting track development, basic edits, session preparation, and overall sound direction.
Session Management & Support: You help maintain clean, structured sessions, supporting file organization, routing, versioning, and overall workflow efficiency across projects.
Collaboration & Iteration: You support coordination between producers, composers, and engineers, assisting in implementing feedback and following iterations across sessions.
Assets, Exports & Archiving: You assist in preparing exports, stems, and deliverables, while ensuring sessions and project files are properly stored and archived.
Research, References & Creative Input: You contribute by gathering references, exploring sounds, and supporting the creative process when relevant, while developing your own production sensibility.
Your profile
You are currently studying or have an initial experience in music production, audio engineering, or a related field. You are comfortable working with DAWs such as Ableton, Logic, or Pro Tools, and have a basic understanding of production and mixing workflows.
You are organized and attentive to detail, especially when it comes to session management, file structure, and technical setups. You understand the importance of clean sessions and reliable workflows in a production environment.
You are curious and proactive, with a strong interest in music production and sound. You are comfortable supporting others, asking questions when needed, and learning through real projects and feedback.
You are able to work in fast-moving environments, adapt to different artistic directions, and remain focused as sessions evolve. You maintain professionalism and discretion, particularly when working with artists and unreleased material.
Any experience in studio sessions, personal productions, or collaborative music projects is a strong advantage. A developed musical sensibility and attention to detail are essential.
